“Puerto Rico en el mundo de la guitarra clásica” is a guitar recital that celebrates the legacy of four of the Puerto Rican champions of the classical guitar in the island: Leonardo Egúrbida, Juan Sorroche, Ernesto Cordero and Gustavo Batista.  Works by W. Ortiz, F. Sor, M. Giuliani, A. Lauro, L. Brouwer, L. Egúrbida, E. Cordero, J. Sorroche, M. Cubano, A. Rodríguez Ortiz.  With the sponsorship of the Centro Cultural Río Encantado, Inc., the Municipality of Florida, the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts.  Free Admission.  At 6:30 pm.

This concert is dedicated in memoriam to Florida’s own classical guitarist, Jerry Caudill.
